Thieves of a feather

During her travels, Aila found herself on the wrong side of the law more often than not. It turns out that taking other people’s stuff doesn’t make one very popular. But still, it was easier than trying to get anyone to agree to giving her more ‘honest work,’ and far more lucrative too! So she accepted the title of thief that was thrust upon her and tried her best to live up to her reputation.
Thievery, swindling, and information gathering became the tricks of her trade, the what she enjoyed doing the most was heists!
It was one of these ventures that she met Bordo, a silly little halfling that turned out to be surprisingly skilled in the sneaky arts. She was casing a particularly well off mansion when she spotted a figure scale the wall and slip into the grounds. Intrigued, she tracked the little man into, and then through the mansion. She was so sure of her own skills that when she rounded a corner and came face to face with a crossbow, she was completely taken aback. Aila locked eyes with the little thief, her eyes conveying new found respect, as his eyes did in return. It was for just a moment, but in that moment the two came to an unspoken agreement. And thus their partnership began.
They didn’t work together too often, but when one contacted the other, it always resulted in a great haul.
